Beyond The Glass Door

At the end of a narrow corridor
Lies a glass door
With a glass knob
And past a silhouette of my shadow
I can see
A dream.
It’s everything I envisioned and more. My prayers answered.
Yet my shadow is holding the knob and obscures the beauty.
We all have this shadow it manifests in self doubt, fear and worry. It’s the sole thing that prevents you from envisioning the potential in your life. It’s the sole thing that obscures even the idea that such beauty even exists. It’s the sole thing that you have to remove.
Yet for most it’s the hardest obstacle because we forget that that shadow is intrinsically apart of ourselves.
That by moving our hands from the knob we remove its influence from our life.
The journey to be free from self doubt is arduous and you may waver back and forth.
However, as long as you allow it to have such a grip on your life that the glass door remains shut too.
